The Malawi National Examination Board (Maneb) has announced the results of this year’s Malawi Schools of Education (MSCE) examinations. The examination has registered an overall 54 percent pass rate, representing a decline from last year’s 58.4 percent.
Maneb made the announcement during a press briefing in Lilongwe this afternoon, organised alongside the Ministry of Education.
Speaking during the briefing, Maneb director Dorothy Nampota has said the results were leakage free.
Out of 154,132 candidates that sat for this examination, 83,846 have passed. This represents an overall pass rate of 54.40%.
Points to Notes
- Candidates should access their results at the centres where they registered for the examination
- All candidates who wish to query their results should do so in writing through their heads of school.
- All queries should reach MANEB by 31st October 2023. After this date no further queries will be considered.
- MANEB will not consider any query about the results made directly to the Board by candidates or any other individual
