List of 27 players selected for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations by Rigobert Song
Indomitable Lions’ coach Rigobert Song has announced his 27 man squad to defend Cameroon in the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations in Côte d’Ivoire. The list is made up of four goalkeepers, nine defenders, six midfielders and eight attackers.
Four players who won the AFCON in 2017 are on the list (Fabrice Ondoa, Njie Clinton, Vincent Aboubakar and Toko Ekambi).
He also retained two out of the seven preselected home based players(Wilfried Nathan Dualla and Leonel Ateba Mbida).
The notable players left out are : Fai Collins, Kunde Malong, Nicolas Brice Moumi Ngamaleu, Nicolas Nkoulou and Choupo-Moting.
