TRAFFIC SIGNS:
Traffic Signs or Road Signs are signs erected at the side of roads to provide information to road users. Pictorial signs are used as symbols in place of words. As control devices for traffic, signs need full attention, respect and adequate driver’s response. There are three basic types of traffic signs:-
Mandatory Signs:
Are Signs that give orders or priorities to a roaduser over the others.There are represented by red circles and are placed 30m ahead.
Cautionary Signs:
Are signs on the road side that gives road users warning or signal about a danger ahead There are represented by red triangles and are placed 30m before the danger
Informative Signs:
Are sign on the road that give road users informations about a particular place there are represented by a blue rectangles
